About Gascogny
The beautiful and peaceful region of Gascony is famed for its foie gras and Armagnac but it is also an area of France that is now producing very good affordable wine. Côtes de Gascogne is a ‘Vin de Pays’ wine region located in the Midi-Pyrénées which principally produces white wine from vines planted in Alluvial soil with clay and sand, but also makes some excellent fruit-driven reds designed for early drinking.
